Samantha Marble, born and raised in southern New Jersey, where she endured her adolescence by traveling back and forth to Philadelphia where she would take photographs at hardcore shows and of her friends skateboarding. Learning how to process film backwards, color first, she built a darkroom in her basement to teach herself how to process black and white film traditionally.

After moving to New York City in 2000 she began shooting it’s thriving independent art scene. For the past 10 years she has been capturing images of up-and-coming artists, musicians and actors along the way. Her work did not go unnoticed; media outlets such as The New York Times, Time Out NY, Brooklyn Vegan, The NY Daily News, Stereogum, Inked Magazine and many others all came knocking.

Samantha currently lives in Brooklyn, NY where she can be found front and center sans ear-plugs. She is available for editorial and corporate assignments.
